PhotoID Pro needed to build a consumer-facing SaaS platform that accepts any user-submitted photo and automatically processes it to meet the strict biometric photo standards of 50+ countries (ICAO, UK, US, Schengen, etc.). The platform needed to handle background removal, facial alignment, compliance checking, print-ready formatting, and digital delivery — all automatically, with <5% rejection rate from government agencies.
We built a multi-stage computer vision pipeline that ingests user photos, runs automated compliance checks against country-specific standards (background colour, face ratio, eye position, expression, shadows), applies corrections where possible, and flags for manual review when automated correction isn't sufficient. The platform handles 15,000+ photos per day with a 97.2% first-submission acceptance rate by government agencies.
