The Challenge

PrecisionWorks, a 350-person precision engineering company in Pune supplying automotive components, was running production management on Tally (accounting only), Excel (production planning), and physical job cards. On-time delivery rate: 67%. Scrap rate: 4.2% with no traceability. Customer delivery complaints generated manually — no SLA tracking. SAP B1 evaluation had been abandoned due to ₹1.8 crore implementation cost and 18-month timeline.

Our Solution

Canny built a custom manufacturing ERP covering production planning (MRP), shop floor control with barcode-based job card scanning, quality inspection, inventory management, procurement, and customer order management. GST-compliant invoicing replaced Tally for operational data, with Tally retained for accounting via integration.
